Does microblading hurt?
It should not hurt, I use a numbing cream on the area to be treated and most clients just experience a scratching sensation.
How long does the treatment take?
Expect your first treatment to take up to 3 hours. During this session your eyebrows will be shaped and styled. I also organise your follow-up visit approximately 6 to 8 weeks later to tweak the end result, this visit lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
How long will my eyebrows take to heal?
Expect some redness and tenderness post-treatment, this is normal and part of the process. You might experience some scabbing and skin shedding. The colour will appear darker by up to 50% immediately post-treatment; this will gradually fade to the “real” colour. Expect 7 to 14 days for your eyebrows to heal and four weeks for the true colour.
How long do eyelash extensions last?
As long as you care for your eyelashes well, they should last up to 6 weeks. To maintain your eyelashes, I recommend booking in for a touch-up appointment every six weeks.
How can I remove my lash extensions?
If you want to remove lash extensions, do not try it yourself or you could damage your own natural lashes. Book in a lash removal appointment with me and I will gently remove all lash extensions using a special product that carefully dissolves the bonding agent.
My natural eyelashes are quite sparse, is that a problem for eyelash extensions?
Most people are good candidates, no matter how sparse or short their eyelashes. I advise the best course of action depending on your lashes and your lifestyle. I always give my clients a full eyelash extension consultation first, so we discuss what you want and what’s possible together.
